The medical world now emphasizes how breathing is much more important than eating. Contaminated food travels into the mouth and out through the anus, staying within the digestive organs only temporarily.

However, few people understand that air is absorbed into the blood pipes of our lungs and instantly integrated as parts of our body makeup. Designing countermeasures to obtain clean air is the key problem that needs to be resolved. We need to refrain from using cars that cause pollution, abstain from smoking, (which contains approximately 3000 harmful chemicals), and ventilate our homes in the morning at the very least. Too much heating in cold weather is also problematic. For the prevention of catching a cold or for promoting good health, opening windows for ventilation is a much better solution that excessive heating.

In an artificial way, you can also use air cleaners. The filter inside the air cleaner intercepts pollen, cancer-causing materials, and insects. It also produces anti-bacterial elements and negative ions, which can treat respiratory patients and people prone to catching colds.
